solo 1
today was my first solo day!! yesterday was my last day of training & i graduated from it woot!!
i had to ask my lead a ton of questions, but oh well :|.
hopefully i’ll catch on soon though!! :)
tomorrow will be a day out in the park with 2 of my roomies and i’ll finally be taking my pictures of the park!! woooot!!
and it’s gonna be my 3rd day at the parks too. 1st...

1st visit.
today is my official 1st visit into one of the parks!! disney’s california adventure, to be specific. haven’t been to the disneyland park yet though.
i went with a bunch of fellow vacation planners so it was pretty cool. we only got to ride grizzly peak and saw the aladdin musical before i decided to head home with 3 others.

we went around her home area to go try shaved ice, play connect 4, and UNO!!
and then we went bowling :)
got my work shoes from payless too.. hope they’ll be super comfy!!

Today was my guest control “training,” I guess you could say. I mostly shadowed someone because there wasn’t that much to it, cept learning about everything and getting the basics. It was a pretty fun day, aside from my feet hurting too much…

training 1
first day of training!! met elizabeth & jacqueline as our trainers :). they were super nice and super fantastic!!
today, my feet hurt like no other!! those flats are soo painful. really need to go to payless and buy new shoes by the looks of it :(.
welcome-to session.
today our welcome-to session was check-in at 8am, and it was from 8:30am-5pm.
we learned tons of stuff today!! and the 4 disney keys: safety, courtesy, show, & efficiency. :)
i also learned that the last 20mins of our shift is reserved for our travel/walking time, so we clock out 20mins prior :D. THAT’S SO AWESOME!! love it.
have to check in at harbor pointe tmr for my 9am training...
aug20th traditions
from 8am-4pm carpooled.
so longgggg and so tired! but was pretty exciting.
at the end, mickey mouse came out from the curtains to greet us!! :D so surprising!!
i’m so glad i had my camera to capture the “magical moment” :D
then we got our IDs to be able to enter the parks!!
but, went home and got ready for bed.

second day of d.c.p!!
we had an early morning meeting at 8:45am at TDA and took a few hours.
then 7:30pm orientation.

for august 18th, 2009 dcp day:
arrival around 11am to early check-ni (originally 12pm)
then went out with kevin to lacc until i had to be back fro the courtyard meeting at 4:30pm
then went out to buy some stuff (ricecooker + rice) and ate at a vietnamese restaurant.
then home.
the horrid dentist.
my 2 root canals and wisdom teeth extraction are finally over!!
let’s hope the top 2 wisdom never grow out so i don’t have to go back @___@!

wisdom teeth.
when you hear of wisdom teeth extractions vs root canal, which sounds more scarier?
well, for me, root canal sounds scarier.
but it seems like wisdom teeth pulling will hurt ten fold compared to root canal.
so i’m supposed to get both done in the same day, plus a painful cleaning probably.
ai ya. a painful day it will be :’(

ultra thin hangers.
it was pretty exhilarating to discover these hangers (thanks to tami) LOL. i know it’s not a big deal, but it excited me for some reason.
maybe it’s because i couldn’t shop for new clothes because i had no room whatsoever in my closet for new clothes.
but right now i can’t tell either way. i’ve packed practically all of my disney closet already and we’ll see...
